Almost forgot... In preparation for the new club league, I managed to find the time to get my Wood Elf team painted.

Warhammer Budget Challenge
So, at the games club we have decided to have a challenge, to collect and paint a 2,400 point fantasy army on a budget. This is more of a guideline than a rule, but items obtained through eBay count at the closing auction price paid for them.
I have never had a painted fantasy army, despite being in the hobby since the age of about 13.
Luckily, I had a whole stack of the most recent metal Dark Elf figures, almost all of which are still the current sculpts.
Without further ado, let me present my first 10 completed models:
Oh, and I think I forgot to mention, part of the challenge is to have the full army painted by the end of March!
Luckily the majority are assembled, but the poor weather and working full-time are going to make spraying anything very tricky...
Fortunately, the weather has improved slightly, and today I am on a mission to get as many models as possible sprayed.
While I remember, here's a shot of the first batch of Repeater Crossbows.
There's only 4 in the picture, but 8 so far have been completed.
Progress has been slow, but work has now started on the next 8 crossbows, and the first 20 spearmen have been cleaned up and assembled.
