eBay Pro-Painted

Well, I'm sure that's a phrase that everyone has seen bandied about. But what does it mean?
To be honest, I have no idea of its actual meaning. Sure, I can tell you what it is commonly used for, and the intent of it, but the actual meaning, no.

Pro-painted - presumably means, at least in a strictly Oxford English dictionary sense that said item has been painted by a professional. Common sense would indicate that this was a professional painter.

Well please, tell me how I could be one of them, and I'd be chuffed to bits.
A painter & decorator is a "professional painter" and to be Hines I think they would likely do a better job than some of the travesties I've seen online.

Perhaps a Games Workshop staff member would count as a professional painter? After all, it would make up a significant part of their job.  Though on eBay users tend to list stuff as GW Staff Painted.

Most likely, Pro-painted is or at least should be a mistype of poor painted, as more often than not, it would be a more accurate representation of the item.
